LOVING MANOKAN GRILL

Everyone loves chicken; may it be fried, roasted or mixed with other ingredients such as Buffalo Wings. Its tender meat that naturally absorbs the flavors of added spices and its savory skin that tickles the taste buds when roasted makes everyone crave for more!

Fortunately the chicken craving of many Kagay-anons is again answered by an establishment that serves dishes inato or home-style cooking. Last August 14, Manokan Grill (formerly Jo’s Chicken Inato) opened its doors and started grilling for the chicken loving public.  Situated along Yacapin and JR Borja Streets, beside Trinidad Building, Manokan Grill still carries the signature recipes of their former business name. With its conventional architecture made more beautiful with modern details and high ceiling, the new Manokan Grill guarantees satisfaction to all of its customers in terms of the food they serve, their service and the ambiance of the dining area.

FOOD. When we talk about Jo’s Chicken Inato, that establishment had satisfactorily served countless customers with their sumptuous and affordable dishes. And I would admit I am one of those happy diners. Since Manokan Grill sticks to the winning recipes of their former brand, quality and taste are assured. Below are just a few of Manokan Grill’s must try offerings:

VERDICT FOR FOOD: 5/5 Points.

SERVICE: 5/5 Points.

It is not only the food that matters to us when dining, the service is also an important factor. When we dine, we wanted to be treated well. Gesture of courtesy from crew members is a very important factor in any establishment. When we had our supper in Manokan Grill, smiles greeted us. Seems that every member of the crew was happy and willing to attend to us. Not the typical gestures you experience in many establishments because in Manokan Grill, there were hints of friendliness from the screw.

AMBIENCE: 5/5 Points

Comfy, airy and spacious dining area awaits everyone who will dine in Manokan Grill along Yacapin Street. Its ambience will surely enhance your gastronomic experience. If you love taking pictures, their colorful chicken-themed wall art will surely generate likes on your Facebook account, if you post a photo having it as your background.

Yeah, there’s more! Their tall and wide web-like windows are perfect for dramatic Instagram worthy photos and their elegant wooden framed mirror near the washing is a good material for a mirror pic!
